For a variety of reasons, which I probably shouldn’t go into, I think this is awesome:
The video at the end shows a mash-up between an iPad and what looks like an old Smith Corona typewriter. Although, how do you “undo”?

A person with knowledge of someone who is close to someone, who knows someone who saw LeBron James entering the Haley Marketing building at 6028 Sheridan Drive has said that the reigning NBA MVP is close to signing with Haley Marketing Group.
“We’re thrilled to have LeBron as part of the team. For years we have been searching for a 6’8″ small forward who could provide our clients with the needed tools to execute their marketing strategies.” said David Searns, president of Haley Marketing.
Contract terms were not yet disclosed but someone who drives a cab in the neighborhood of LeBron’s 3rd grade teacher told my tailor that one of the perks included is the prime window cubicle currently occupied by Todd Lewandowski.
“Seriously? I’ve been here for 8 years. I’ve suffered through earthquakes, insect infestations, hogweed, the power going out on every sunny day, and countless parking diagrams. So now this guy is going to walk in and just take my cubicle from me. Sure he’s an MVP, but guess what? We both have the same number of NBA Championships. Ouch take that King James!” a clearly agitated Lewandowski exclaimed as he walked away from the candy dish.
Stay tuned for more on this story as it develops.
Mashable has named June 30th Social Media Day. Let’s celebrate by Tweeting, blogging, and connecting with friends on Facebook. In Buffalo there is a meetup at a restaurant downtown, click here to see if there are any Social Media Day events going on in your city.
And if you have been meaning to get on the social media train, what are you waiting for? It’s fun, easy, and if done properly can improve your website and help you connect with clients and prospects. Give me a call at 888-696-2900, I’d be happy to discuss how you can get started with social media today!
Let me preface this post by saying there is no magic solution that will guarantee you get to the top of Google rankings. And if anyone tells you there is–they’re lying!
But, there are some best practices you can follow that will help. Today, I wanted to share an example of how we helped Priority Personnel go from nowhere on Google’s radar to page one. Here’s what happened:
9:04 am - Our client mentioned they had a few welding jobs available but they were nowhere to be found on Google when someone searched for welding jobs in their town.
9:15 am – We published their original job description on their blog and used some specific SEO elements within that post. We then ensured that the Priority Personnel website was on Google’s list to index (see Google Site Submissions).
9:25 am – Google indexed this blog page and Priority Personnel’s job listing was #2 in Google listings for “welding jobs in San Marcos”. They outranked almost every major job board, CraigsList.org and several other very popular websites.
A few months ago, Victoria Kenward shared a video on the revolution of social media with our Ask Haley readers: Social Media Growth Facts by Socialnomics. This 4-minute video was produced last August and shared some amazing facts about the widespread growth and reach of social media.
What is even more amazing than the facts in that original video, is the fact that a mere 9-months after it was produced, the statistics were already outdated. A new video was recently produced. View the new video below:
